The Lighthouse, in Glasgow, is one of the largest temporary exhibition venues for architecture and design in Europe.
There are three main temporary exhibition galleries, a review gallery and one permanent exhibition space.
This diversity of spaces has been carefully designed to accommodate and reflect different aspects of design and architectural activities across a range of disciplines.
On now until 11 April, 2004 is White Light exhibiting the work of two designers from Finland.
Riitta Liisa and Anna Riitta Haavisto are renowned Finnish textile designers. Their work is a melting pot of traditional and modern techniques, the results are spontaneous and beautiful.
This site specific installation is best described as 'paper constructions', the mother and daughter partnership explore ways of using different papers as dynamic and diverse materials.
