 The Show: Fashion at the Royal College of Art is the only catwalk show by postgraduate students including Womenswear, Menswear, and Millinery, as well as displays of Footwear and Accessories.
Thirty-five students will be showcasing their final collections, in what promises to be a highly professional and innovative display of clothing and accessories.
The Royal College of Art is the only wholly postgraduate Fashion school in the world. 95% of RCA fashion graduates gain employment in related industries and go on to work for companies such as Calvin Klein, Chloe, Donna Karan, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Ungaro, Nicole Farhi, Joseph, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, MaxMara, Burberry, Pringle, John Galliano and Levis.
The culmination of all these events is the Fashion Gala on the evening of 9 June which includes a lavish dinner, catwalk show and sponsor awards ceremony. The guests of honour so far confirmed are Bryan Ferry, Lord Snowdon, Antonio Marras, Giles Deacon and Suggs. Most exhibits are for sale and many students are willing to undertake commissions.
