Ceramic Art London 2005

Ceramic Art London 2005 (www.ceramics.org.uk) is a brand new event, dedicated to showcasing excellence for ceramics in the UK and abroad. The brainchild of the Craft Potters Association (CPA) and Ceramic Review, this pioneering, high-profile show is being opened by Chairman of the Arts Council Sir Christopher Frayling

The event will see eighty of the best potters worldwide, including Phil Rogers and Regina Heinz, exhibiting their work over three days at the Royal College of Art.

Ceramic Art London will also feature a major educational programme of talks, discussions, demonstrations and films with acclaimed ceramist and Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry taking part. Other confirmed speakers include celebrity chef Sophie Grigson and Henry Sandon of the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, plus prolific potters such as Kate Malone and Takeshi Yasuda.

A dedicated student exhibition will also put the spotlight on up and coming talent within the Ceramics and Glass Department at the Royal College of Art.
