 They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, yet we know images sell books.
This year's Frankfurt Bookfair will see the largest gathering of picture libraries to date, with the inclusion of the BAPLA Image Village (Hall 8: Stand L907).
Ten specialist libraries: akg-images, Arcaid, Eye Ubiquitous, National Portrait Gallery Picture Library, Nature Picture Library, NHPA Ltd., The Art Archive, The Kobal Collection and Wellcome Trust Medical Photographic Library, will join forces with the British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies, which represents over 400 libraries and agencies, to showcase their collections under the BAPLA Image Village group initiative.
Areas covered by the collections within the BAPLA Image Village include architecture, art, culture, films, medical, nature and travel photography.
