Yuka Style
Contemporary meets natural. A wave of young Asian designers is emerging to the international furniture scene bringing us contemporary designs made with the purest natural materials.

This new styles makes for a rare mix of modern urban furniture with the welcoming warmth of rustic style furniture. Dutch company, Yuka style brings a selection of the most surprising and freshest items on offer.

Recently Yuka style received an award for best object at Pulse 2004, handed by the British Interior Design Association. Their screen lamp Ampie was chosen to best object at Pulse 2004 earning the recognition it deserves for its simple yet clever design. The use of abaca rope and the twelve lights shining through the fiberpaper make this a stylish centrepiece.

For those who visited Pulse 2004, you can't have failed to miss Yuka's Pod chairs. If you liked the idea of owning one, but wondered how it would fit through the door, Yuka have found a way round this. Their designer is currently working on a version which is 'knockdown'.

Not only does this mean you can now get this great object into the room of your choice, but it will also lower the cost of transportation. Newly revised prices will be available, soon.
