Laduree, the exquisite Parisian tearoom, as well known for its clientele as its selection of authentic teas, intricate cakes, pastries and seductive macaroons, has arrived at Harrods.
|
Fans of Ladurée’s internationally renowned Macaroon, now won’t have to go as far to get their hands on this season’s must-have accessory and satisfy their craving for the small, round, crisp melt in your mouth sensations. They can now choose from the mini-macaroon (“gerbet”) or the full-size macaroon in a variety of colours to match their shoes and over twenty flavours including vanilla, chocolate and coffee, salted butter caramel and Liquorice to match their mood.
For the style conscious, each season Ladurée pays tribute to its most famous delicacy and creates a new bespoke flavour. This season’s must have is entitled ‘Java’, and is an exotic, deep grey macaroon with an intense “sugar & spice” taste, bursting with flavour. This new macaroon is filled with a smooth chocolate cream spiced with Java pepper, for a delicious blend of sweetness and fiery heat.
Carrying on the exotic theme, Ladurée is launching a new look macaroon box inspired by the flaming bright colours of Bollywood, each filled with an assortment of macaroons.
The enchanting ‘salon de the’ is set over two floors with a seating capacity of 76 on the ground floor and mezzanine. Guests can admire the decadent surroundings, hand painted mural and glamour and style, whilst seated at the ‘petit’ bar area, which offers a selection of fine French wines, spirits and soft drinks.
