From the Crocus plant range comes this beautiful blue leaved ornamental grass, Elijah Blue Fescue 'Festuca glauca Elijah Blue'. Simply the best blue leaved ornamental grass, with needle like silvery blue-green leaves and short spikes of blue-green midsummer flowers, gradually fading to pale tan.
Combine with blue and purple flowering perennials, such as Salvia x sylvestris 'Mainacht', underplanted with Allium karataviense for a jewel-like summer display.
